Joey joined Live Oak in 2005 and has been an Elder since 2012. He is an Adult Sunday School teacher, Life Group leader, Preschool/Children’s church teacher, preaches, and heads the Welcome Team. On a Sunday morning you can find Joey roaming the grounds looking for someone to talk to. He’s the tall guy you’ll see on stage giving the announcements and saying “Welcome… we are glad you are here!” He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Alabama and his MBA from the University of West Florida. Joey was born and raised in Mobile, AL. He and his wife, Brandy, have 2 children, Kyle and Camryn. Joey enjoys spending time with family (especially the grandkids), playing disc golf, fishing and boating, and watching Alabama football (Roll Tide!).
