Duane joined Live Oak in September of 2015 as the Worship Leader. He heads up our worship ministry team, audio/visual team, and media team. He graduated college at Visible School in Memphis, TN, a worship arts and ministry school, where he studied to become a worship leader and session musician. He has been a professional musician since 2006, playing multiple instruments in live band settings and contributing to artist’s projects on their studio recordings. In 2018, he launched a wedding entertainment company where he is the lead DJ and has been using a portion of the proceeds to give to organizations like Heart of The Bride. He and his wife, Tamara, have been married since 2012 and have 2 children, Sebastian and Nathaniel. Duane enjoys spending time with family, one-on-one talks with friends, trips to the park with his guitar, writing music, and enjoying a solid audiobook or movie.
